Obituary of Hilda Latusek

Hilda Latusek, age 96 of Monroeville, died Sunday, September 23, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Manassas, Virginia. She was born March 29, 1922 in Turtle Creek, the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth McMullen Stitt, and wife of the late Albert Latusek.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Michael (Mary Ann) Latusek of Elizabeth Township; daughters, Kathleen (John) Taylor of Murrysville, Patricia (John) Flemming of Manassas, VA, Suzan (Michael) Bresch of Monroeville; grandchildren, John (Mary) Flemming, Cheri (Chris) Shoemaker, Chrissy (Chris) Nagro, April McClain, Kirk Taylor, Elizabeth (Ian Cohen) Latusek, Megan (Jon) Radcliffe, Michael (Cara) Latusek, Jennifer (Bill Nichols) DiGiovanni-Nichols, Mellissa (Mike) Rugh; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by great-grandchild Reagan Flemming, four brothers, and four sisters.

Friends and family will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Service, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177), on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2018, 10:00 am at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, 101 McLay Dr., Elizabeth, PA 15037 with Fr. Thomas Wagner officiating.  Remembrances name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial and Honor Gifts, P.O.
