Obituary of Thomas S. Mikula

Thomas S. Mikula, age 70 of North Huntingdon, died Sunday, January 27, 2019. He was born November 2, 1948 in Uniontown, PA, the son of the late Matthew and Helen Bealko Mikula. Tom was a graduate of Penn State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree. He was an avid golfer and fisherman, but his grandchildren were the joy of his life. He was a career salesman and after his retirement he enjoyed driving for Lyft.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Gloria “Jean” Brick Mikula; sons, Brian (Sherri) Mikula of Jefferson Hills; Eric Mikula of Shadyside; daughter, Kelly (Thomas) Blaze of Elizabeth; step-children, Jennifer (David) Kratzenberg of Latrobe; Lawrence Brick of Port Vue; 9 grandchildren; brothers, Michael (Marie) Mikula of Olney, MD; James (Dennis) Mikula of Ligonier; sisters, Carol “Sis” Sikora of Uniontown; Mary “Dutch” Strucula of Uniontown; and Jacqueline (Thomas) Verney of Bowling Springs, PA; also many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177) on Wednesday, January 30th from 2-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 200 Leger Rd, Irwin, PA 15642, on Thursday at 10 am. Burial will be held in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Irwin.
