Obituary of Thomas Anderson

Thomas Anderson, age 52, of Boston, PA, died on Sunday, February 3, 2019. He was born in Pittsburgh on September 13, 1966 and is the son of the late James and Marcella Newbauer Anderson. He was raised by his foster parents, the late Joseph and Lillian Edwards. Thomas served in the U.S. Army during the Gulf War and later worked at United States Steel in McKeesport.

He is survived by companion, Kathy Mesiarik; daughter, Kaylin Anderson of Monongahela; step daughters, Kaylee Elwood of McKeesport; Cassidy Mesiarik of McKeesport; Savannah Mesiarik of McKeesport; siblings, James (Marlene) Anderson of Johnstown, PA; Paul Anderson of Forest Hills; Joseph Anderson of Pittsburgh; Kathy (Ronald David) Tagaloe of McKeesport; Joseph (Debbie) Edwards, Jr. of Elizabeth; LaDawn (James) Hanson of Lake in the Hills, IL ; and granddaughter, Peyton Elwood of McKeesport.

A gathering will take place at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 4 pm to 6 pm. Burial will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Rd, Bridgeville, PA 15017, on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 10 am.
