Obituary of Patricia A. Monoyoudis

Patricia A. Monoyoudis, age 84, of White Oak died Tuesday, May 14, 2019.  She was born in McKeesport on December 13, 1934 and is the daughter of the late George and Elsie Peterson McAdoo. She is the wife of the late George Monoyoudis.  She was employed by the city of McKeesport where she served as the City Administrator. She held the position of Treasurer in 1976 and served in various capacities throughout the years.  She was employed part time at Compacting Tooling, Inc. in Elizabeth.  She was a member of the former McKeesport Symphony Board and the Jodie Matta-Dillinger Cancer Care Foundation at UPMC McKeesport, she was a McKeesport High School graduate and loved working on the reunion committee and she was a member of the Friday Lunch Group.

She is survived by her brother John “Jack” McAdoo from White Oak; sister Betty V. Ruccio of White Oak; and nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Lois McAdoo (James “Bud”) Figola.

Family and friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Friday from 10:00 until 11:30 am when services will be held in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow.
