Dearest Teri and Nick, and all of Pat’s close and extended family, and even ‘special daughter Linda”, please accept our deepest condolences at the passing of Pat. Being around Pat meant you were gonna have a good time—whether ya wanted to or not! LOL! Pat always found a way to get everyone engaged in some fun game she concocted! She entertained you with her sharp wit, her wicked sense of humor, and with her desire to bring people together. I’ll miss her at holiday functions where we all got together to share our love and good fortune to be together.
Love & Prayers,
~Shaana & Keith

Teri, Nick and all of the extended family,
Words cannot express my sadness in losing our dear Pat...she was like a 2nd Mom to me, and was always such a joy to have around. Her quick wit and intelligence will be sorely missed at all of our gatherings. Prayers for healing hearts for a loss so great. Pat, may you soar in the heavens with those who are there to greet you. Say hi to my Mom. Love you always, Deb

To The Family of Pat Harris,
I was honored and humbled to work with Pat at Penn State McKeesport (now Greater Allegheny). I joined the Continuing Education Department in 1985. At that time, Pat ran the evening program and helped me to learn the CE system. She was very helpful to me and extremely knowledgeable about the instructors and courses. She always had a welcoming smile and willingness to help everyone. In looking back at my career, she is one of my favorite colleagues.
I, and my family, send our condolences to her family. She was truly a wonderful, joyful person.
Sincerely,
Dr. Tony Mitchell

Pat was married to my mother's youngest brother Jack. They were the "cool" fun Aunt & Uncle and we fought over who got to stay with them when we visited McKeesport.
I remember one night Aunt Pat decided that we should go bowling and despite the fact that it was way past our bedtime she took Tracy, Terry, my sister Marilyn and me bowling. She was always doing impromptu things and we had such a wonderful time whenever we visited. Sometimes we would just sit around and drink tea but she treated us like "real" people instead of kids and we loved her for that.
She was a very special person and I will keep the memories we shared forever.
Love to you Aunt Pat.
Jackie

On behalf of the staff of Kelly Library at Penn State Greater Allegheny, I extend my deepest condolences to the friends and family of Patricia Harris. While I did not know her personally, it is clear that she left her mark on our campus and our community. Her spirit lives on in the many lives she touched.

Pat was so loved by all who knew her. Such a beautiful person and so important to McKeesport. It has been years since we have been together, but our phone calls were so dear to me. She will be missed by all.
