Now that Dad has joined Mom once again, their 73+ yr marriage and love affair continues in heaven, no doubt. Mom was a rock, she never complained about her challenges; and was strong until the end. As my wife often said, 'Mom was a saint' for having raised me and my brothers and sister. Not only raised us, but helped us in every way. I remember her typing papers for us in our youth on old typewriters prior to computers. She managed all the household bills and finances. We thought we were rich but far from it. Mom handled all the pressure of feeding 8 young mouths, budgeting house costs, insurance, health care, you name it. This woman was a genius at organization physically, financially, and spiritually. She fought a great fight in her later years, adapting her mind and skills to thrive and enjoy her life. She loved unconditionally, and will forever be in my heart. Love you Mom - your grateful son, Rich

Uncle Jack, Aunt Gloria and their family are an intrinsic part of my childhood. So many memories of going up the steps on Glencoe to be warmly greated by a hug from Aunt Gloria, having a slice of her zucchini bread & learning about gardening. I am so inspired still by Aunt Gloria's continual thirst to learn new things and her love & pride for her whole family including all her nieces and nephews. Comfort and solace sent from me, Ed, Frank and Charlie to all. Our hearts are deeply saddened but know that she is now in Heaven.

My condolences John for the loss of you mother. She surely had a full life and the best is yet to come for her. My mother turned 101 last week and aside from her knee pain ... she does well. She still lives alone in Port Due and drives. I really haven't heard anything of the Thiel group aside from Dave Thomas passing away a few months ago. Your mother will be in my prayers as will be your family.
God Bless ..... Tom
