Obituary of Michael Kerwin

Michael Kerwin, age 71, of McKeesport died Sunday, December 22, 2019. He was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey on December 4, 1948 and is the son of the late Robert Kerwin and the late Mary Ford Killfoile. He was an Army veteran serving during the Vietnam Era. He later worked as a taxicab driver. He was a member of the Millvale VFW, enjoyed reading the bible and loved flowers and nature. He is survived by his loving companion of 30 years, Nancy Astemborski; his daughter, Jeannine (Jay) Fedor of Greenock; grandchildren, Dylan and Sydney; sisters, Kathy Gray of Mill Valley, California, Trish Holtz of Santa Rosa, California; brothers, Tom Killfoile of Santa Rosa, California, Michael Killfoile of Manhattan, New York; many nieces and nephews; also Nancy’s sisters, Mary of Florida, Joanne of Wisconsin, Stephanie and Marcia both of Shaler Twp.; and their children; and also his loving pet, Bobbie the Cat. A celebration of life will be held at a later date with inurnment to follow.
