Obituary of Sean L. McKown

Sean L. McKown, age 47 of Kettering, Ohio passed away Monday, February 10, 2020 at home. He was born in McKeesport, PA on April 6, 1972 and is the son of the Susan C. (Halstead) Owens (Michael) and the late Laurence K McKown. Sean is also survived and by his step-parents Larry and Shirley (Rusinko) Maglicco of Elizabeth Township, Brother Larry Maglicco of Kettering, Ohio, and girlfriend and companion Amber Phillips, also of Kettering, Ohio. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and friends who will miss him dearly. Sean was a proprietor and operator of The Buckin Donkey Restaurant in Kettering. He was known as the pie man, the wing man and the jambalaya guy. His love of business and culinary abilities led him to open the “Steeler Bar of Kettering” Sean was a die-hard Steeler fan, had the love of music especially Pearl Jam, had a great sense of humor and the ability to make everyone feel welcome in his presence. A gathering of friends and family will take place Tuesday, February 18, 2020, from 2pm-5pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Road Kettering, Ohio 45429.
