Obituary of Larry Hindman

Larry Hindman, age 66, of Port Vue, passed away on January 4, 2018. He was born in McKeesport, PA, the son of the late Oliver and Alice Edinboro Trumpe Hindman.  He was a machinist for Precision Parts of Turtle Creek;  also, a former Boy Scout Leader in Port Vue and former Youth Group Leader at Port Vue United Methodist Church.

He is survived his loving wife of 45 years, Dian Kremer Hindman; daughter, Michelle(Robert) Thompson of Port Vue; son, Larry Michael (Julie) Hindman of Tioga, PA; sisters, Cheryl Detar of Louisville, KY and Kathy (George) Geiger of North Versailles, PA; grandchildren, Julianna, Sonia, Nathaniel and Daniel.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Striffler’s of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177) at 9:30am until the time of service at 11am in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Charles Owston officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
