Obituary of Robert E. Wineland

Robert E. Wineland, age 74 of McKeesport, died Monday, January 22, 2018. He was born January 9, 1944 in McKeesport, the son of the late Earl W. and Elizabeth Plues Wineland. Robert served in the U.S. Marine Corp in motor transport during the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Amy Wineland and his sister Sandra Shimko. He is survived by his sons; Brian (Mary) Wineland of Cranberry Twp., Robert Solack of N. Huntingdon, brother Timothy (Kimberly) Wineland of Jacksonville, FL, sisters; Patricia Letchford of Inverness, FL, Kathy (Jay) Neuman-Simco of Lake Worth, FL, granddaughter Natalie, nieces, and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 4-8 pm at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177), where service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 10:00 am.  Burial will follow.  Condolences may be made at www.strifflerfuneralhome.com.
