Obituary of Doris L. Benick

Doris L. Benick, age 85 of McKeesport, died Tuesday, January 23, 2018.  She was born August 7, 1932 in McKeesport, the daughter of the late James and Agnes Schultz O’Brien.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Maureen Demuzio.

She is survived by her husband, William N. Benick; son, James (Diane) Benick of Churchill; daughters; Doreen (Arthur) Wray of North Versailles and Sharon (the late Kevin) Melville of Eighty-Four, PA; grandchildren; Justin (Candace) Wray, Mathew (Lori) Benick, Lindsay (Zack) Olshenske, Noah and Luke Melville; great grandchildren; Mackenzie and Hudson Wray, Willow and Rowan Benick and Weston Olshenske.  Family and friends will be received on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 2:00-8:00 pm at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177).  Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 26, 2018 at Corpus Christi Church, McKeesport at 12:30 pm with Fr.
