My deepest sympathy for the family and friends of Rusty. We will never get used to losing our loved ones in death because as Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, we were created with everlasting life in view. But may you find comfort in knowing that Almighty God has promised that soon he will swallow up death forever along with the pain that it brings. (Isaiah 25:8) God has also promised that he will return Rusty to you as it says at John 5:28,29. You can also learn more about what happens when a loved one dies at JW.org. My most sincere condolences during these difficult days.

Rusty grew up two doors away from me in Murrysville. Rusty, my brother, and I spent countless hours playing ball, Army, Cops & Robbers, bike tag, and playing around in Turtle Creek.
Simpler, better times, for sure.

Vincent and Tanner: Your Dad was one of the good guys. I always enjoyed talking baseball and coaching with him, whether it was celebrating some accomplishment, solving a problem, or just sharing frustrations. He always seemed to have a positive outlook on things, even after he got sick. He was a strong person and he'll be missed. My deepest condolences to you and your family.
